Education

The Education Section of the Mission is responsible for overseeing the welfare and academic affairs of Ghana Government–sponsored students in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

As the overseas office of the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat in Accra, the Education Section acts as a liaison between sponsored students, their respective institutions, and the Secretariat.

Note: The Education Section, and by extension, the Ghana High Commission, UK, does not offer or arrange scholarships. All sponsorships are administered exclusively by the Ghana Scholarships Secretariat in Accra.

In addition, the Section supports the recruitment of skilled Ghanaians for employment opportunities in both the public and private sectors in Ghana. It also provides educational advisory services to UK-based organisations and individuals interested in establishing or extending educational initiatives and partnerships in Ghana.
